In our minds the monologue the Duck delivers is in its fullest sense an invitation to an ongoing and important dialogue. What The Gloves Come Off! is, is a passionate meditation about a part of life that all too often goes under-examined or receives only superficial attention. This book does not fear to dive deep, but does so intelligently and with a gentle touch. The pages are filled with profound insights, fierce debating, unique points of view, as well as enthusiasm for the subject-matter at hand. All of this is carried out with a disarming sense of humor. What more could one ask for?
